Let us always be praying for:

  • Children who become victims of human trafficking; pray for their families and for all involved in trying to stop this criminal activity.
  • People facing retrenchment and for those who want to work but are unable to secure employment.
  • People who do night shift work and are exposed to the elements.
  • All people who suffer from any form of addiction – pray for those who work in treatment and rehabilitation centres and for the families of the addicts.
  • Single parent homes and for child-headed homes – God’s grace and wisdom in discerning the future.
  • Journalists and editors – for accurate and unbiased reporting and freedom from intimidation.
  • God’s love to touch people who are afraid of dying.
  • Counselors and therapists who help children who have been abused and/or traumatized.
  • Service Clubs and other aid-organizations that help people during the cold winter months.
  • Believers in the Middle-East countries – that the Holy Spirit will strengthen and grow their faith and trust in God.
  • Countries torn by war and civil protests – for an end to corrupt and abusive political powers.
  • Newly elected Councillors and mayors – for service above self.
  • Safety of all road users during the Easter weekend. Pray also for traffic officers and medical teams who will be working extra long hours.
  • Patients (and their loved ones) who are dependent on life-support machines.
  • People who are oppressed and for those who have lost their freedom.
  • People who have been taken hostage and for those imprisoned because of their belief in Christ.
  • People working with and for those involved in ministry to drug and other substance addicts.
  • People facing ethnic violence and religious hatred.
  • Sailors and other workers who spend long periods of time away from their families and homes.
